Yes, that is what the numbers were representing. 760 fps for the .177 caliber version and 655 fps for the .22 version.

what kind of silencer is it?

there isn't actually a silencer on it. there is a COMPENSATOR, which distributes the sound a bit more efficiently which may make it seem quieter (if not just look cool), but the real silent part of the rifle is the powerplant itself. CO2 powerplants don't make much noise when fired.

You can get the 850 AirMagnum in .22 or .177 for less than $240 online.
