depends on from where to where. We did it from Cape Verde to the Guadelupe in 15 days. Some do it from the Canary Islands to the Caribbeans in about 3 weeks.
Is ST johns in newfoundland the first point the most atlantic crossers first hit? Id had plan to do the trip with small log boat w/out any technical gadgeds to test was it possible to sail from europe to america in 500 AD alone. but the changes I were 98% death without any GPS,phones...
