  • You better be honest, then...

  • Skip a bit brother...

  • I cannot control myself... I must say it...

Your chopping off of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody in mid-phrase is driving me crazy!

  • Great Guggly Muggly!

  • I First heard about this video and the other improbable research video while i was listening to "Stuff You Should Know" Podcast. The Ig Nobel Prize

  • Hydrophobia is an old-fashioned word for rabies.

  • no its not, it is a fear of water, though it is understandable that you confused them, as hydrophobia is a symptom of rabies (and not the only fear related symptom interestingly enough, also of light and movement i believe).

  • "Hydrophobia" is literally "fear of water," but for a long time the words "hydrophobia' and "rabies" were interchangeable. See the first couple of pages of "The Jungle Book" for an example.

In the context of the video, it is specifically referring to rabies.

  • Madness, dumbness, and... hydrophobya?

  • It's rabies, IIRC.

  • out of curiousity, whats, "Athurakai"?

  • Huh, I tried looking it up and the only links I can find are to the text of the oath itself.

  • the 3rd result on google was you're comment -_-
