Ive read that the head is based upon the early design sketches of Vader. Personally, Ive hated all the SW TFs because they sported "lifelike" heads, which is like spray-painting Batman's face on a black car and saying its the Batmobile. This "abstracted" version of Vader's mutton-chops should be a step in the right direction. Anyway, Takara is bringing out "proper" SW-TF's featuring actual G1 heads and colour schemes, according to my chums here in Japan!

You're right about the headmold.

Maybe there is a way of putting the other guys head onto this figure. That he would be more acurate.

I with Hasbro would have made the figures into "Main" Transformers characters like Prime , Megatron , and Starscream .
