@andyouseethelight I don't think it's merely just a perception that things "seemed" better in the nineties - this is actual reality. Music really sucks now. The 90s was an extremely inventive decade with an "anything goes" kinda vibe. People didn't give a fuck because it was cool or hip, it just felt natural after the 80s era of excess and extravagance. Most mainstream music coming out now is forced and uninspired trend-following garbage.
