Tito, prior to fighting Lyoto, was coming off a draw and one loss. But before that, he had a five fight win streak. Without that point deduction he received for holding on to the fence, he would've beaten Rashad and gotten the 'W'. But fine, if you still insist that Tito was washed up at the time he fought him, then look at his fight with Sokoudjou (sp?) instead. Sokoudjou was coming off back to back wins against Nog and Arona when they fought, so don't give me any bullshit.

Tito, prior to fighting Lyoto, was coming off a draw and one loss. But before that, he had a five fight win streak. Without that point deduction he received for holding on to the fence, he would've beaten Rashad and gotten the 'W'. But fine, if you still insist that Tito was washed up at the time he fought him, then look at his fight with Sokoudjou (sp?) instead. Sokoudjou was coming off back to back wins against Nog and Arona when they fought, so don't give me any bullshit.

I wasn't only referring to his "elusiveness." I was referring to TDD and ability to not be controlled by other fighters. He has a sumo background, ya know. He has very successful trips and throws. He demonstrated some of that in the Ortiz fight. Ortiz kept going for take downs, but he ended up with Lyoto on top of him every time. I'm not promising that Lyoto will win.

@t4ls i agree, but i'll take it a step further with the entire card. too long have i been pumped for a UFC card like this one and it turns out that more than half of the main events are boring and drawn out. then there's the occasional Liddel/Franklin card that looks pretty brutal on paper, but suprisingly turns out to be very entertaining when the night's over.
