When he was done he called himself "The Cadillac Elvis" with a laugh. Then a few years before he died, he had his eyes done.

Dam..Elvis could sang just about anything......He was one of the first artists to manage to stay contemporary. this was the late 60s-early 70s and the sound is definitely a current one ......He was also one of the first artists to successfully straddle the rock/country music line (Kenny Rogers would do the same thing from 1976-1985) and never be called a sell-out....

yeah i would actually cos im sure elvis would still be dying his hair black. and most celebrities nowadays use surgery, look at cher etc she's in her late 60's.

Elvis wouldn't do plastic surgery maybe only minor one nothing major like these celebrities thst just not Elvis. Elvis was too sporitually conscious n knew the body was nothing, to be comsumed by the vainess of materialistic geist! I 'm not saying Elvis didn't like lookin good who wouldn't but he knew his spiritual & religious truths wouldn't let him go in that direction like most of these hollywood celebrities. Elvis did have a facelift in 1976 apparently. He worried that the fans might think he was too old or something. But Elvis always looked good. He is so sexy and handsome so i dont care really. No he did NOT have a face lift. According to his cousin Billy Smith in Guralniks book Careless Love he had puffiness taken out from under his eyes, and everybody tried to talk him out of it. Elvis's puffiness was temporary caused from cortisone he had been given.

Many people don't know that a lot of Elvis's puffiness in the last couple of years was caused by those cortisone injections for joint pain. Some thought it was his heart, but according to famed forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht who studied the reports Elvis did not have a heart attack, heart failure or anything like that.

This song is on the album Elvis-Memphis Sessions.I believe this album says it all Elvis IS BACK.The recordings sessions were done at night and I know the double album was done in a record 5 days.The sessions took place right after the 68 Comeback Special.
