This was the early 90's, she was actually slimmer then than she was in the 80's.
In the 80's she was not only fat, it was sort of like her trademark; when you thought of Oprah you thought "fat" lol.
She lost alot of weight in the mid 90's and I guess kids that grew up from that point on only ever knew about the slim Oprah.
