This is definetly the worst circuit from Tilke ever.
In a German newspaper Marc Surer explained the track because he drove it. And he told that when he drove the chicane, he took the shortcut because he couldn't believe that this should be the track.
yeah it's terrible isn't it? they should go back to the old layout for this bit. F1 cars look so slow and clumsy through there, on an otherwise brilliant flowing track
The OLD Fuji speedway back when Hunt and Lauda fought for the championship was great. So fast and with a lot of flow and the last corner was really tricky.
This new track is just a steaming pile of Hermann Tilke seen-it-before long straight-hairpin-chicane nonsense. C'mon! Turkey was good, why can't he make more tracks like that?
thats because it is a v10 u fool. the video says at the start that it was in 2005 back when v10s were still in use..

You are right, it is v10. This video is recorded Nov 2005, after last v10 engine season.

I think that the best japanese circuit is Motegi, F1 muat run there.

Suzuka is much better and already has the history. To me it's a no-brainer as to which F1 track it should be.
