My brother even got a autograph after the show. Apparently he doesn't pick on the girls which was a disappointment because I would love to see what he would have to say about my life.

I have no idea why that is, but in the UK and most parts of the EU, you are free to do whatever you want as a viewer, but you have to be prepared to get verbally shat on if the comedian is prepared.

From my experience it is based on the club or the comic, half the time they encourage it because it gives them more material to publicly shit on people.
