well after a time the lying is getting exualy pretty fun
i swear i was a bit depressed for a time, but if you just have the spirit to think: "if i tell them they have one more reason to find me a stranger" and"inst it funny how they talk about gays like they coud reconaise them all" its pretty funny
i sometimes almost gigle on some of those moments
and i always say on all the questions: maybe later
I'm coming out slowly, and it feels so good... thanks so much for this vlog Cheyne! I just had the awesomenesst night ever with A GUY! aww it felt so good. I do wish it wasn't such a big deal, being bi, or gay... just last weekend an openly 49 year old gay man by the name of Jack Price was beaten half to death with homophobic slurs were being shouted... it happened a few block from my house, which really scares me about the whole coming out thing.
But honestly I wish I'd come out long ago, maybe I'd be a more stable person, because if you can't be yourself, how can you live with yourself and truly know who you are? Well, I love you Cheyne! Your so beautiful. <3
I meant to so it felt so right, while feeling good as well. (this is like my 3rd time watching this vid, I think I totally have an online crush on you. <3) ...but I also wanted to ask, does anyone know of any LGBT online communities for youth?
i'm crossing my fingers that one day coming out will be a cultural non-issue and kids will look at us and say, "i don't get it, why was it such a big deal back then?" seriously, a heartfelt thank you for this vid. i think it's so important to lead by example and you're doing it!
As accepting as any community, if not more. Filipinos are used to gay people and the third gender (trannys) and it's not uncommon to see gay characters on Filipino TV shows.
Well, girls indeed wanna be friends, had that aswell.
But meeting new people because of this, hardly :(
Haven't made new friends because we were both gay, never been in love with a gay guy and therefor never had a boyfriend. Still, comming out makes life better
Yes, I like to think that's the reason why people become friends in the first place...because they share the same interests, not because they want to sleep with each other.
Let's try not to let our jaded sensibilities prevent more timid closeted gay people from coming out. Let's try and be encouraging, shall we?
It was very different 40 years ago. I moved out and my parents did not speak to me for 6 months. They did come around and accepted my bf. They helped care for him after cancer surgery many years later. He went into remission and returned the favor by helping to care for my bed ridden father. Dad died and then my bf followed. Mom helped me scatter his ashes. She died suddenly 6 years ago. I believe they loved my bf and I know that he loved them.
Great video! I didn't have to come out of closet, my mom figured it out when I was 13 but didn't ask me till 15 when I was behind the wheel practicing driving, she asked me to pull over... "Son please be honest with me... no matter what I'll always love you... are you gay?" I was like Oh yeah & I'm damn proud of it!" She laughed softly and gave me hug. I came out to rest of my family and they freaked out cuz they're REDNECK... they disown me beside my mom, brother, and my nana (died few yrs ago)
yes yes yes!!! if only people weren't so scared of their own skin ... we only waste precious moments of our lives by lying to others which is lying knowingly to ourselves...and chances are that most of the time many people know already without you telling them so the responses won't be as shocked and "scary" as the monster scenario you have been building in your head throughout the years.

ps: iam aslo not a good talker :/
3th reason: iam not a celebirty or any other shit
just like me ?
i dont say its the fault of the uploader or annyone else, but even besides outing my cynism on this shit, iam now even a litle bit down

how ever i dont care witch gender woud like me or who
i dont like gossip, and i dont like fasion at all though
i dont even know what the first means honestley XD
how ever, music is holly for me
i sometimes think without music, i woud have killed myself already by now
but my musictaste is to screwed up to be understanded for real
annyone ever heard of globus ?
no they never did :(
punk, (hard)rock, songs of the 80's from before my time, clasic....
on who in earths name coud i relate to ?
13thmistral 11 months ago
reason 2: ok, iam getting a bit lonley on this moment, but i never needed in my life realy"a lot" of friends
having just 3 is ideal, having more then 10,.....
ok i had that number of classmates i liked years ago, but of real friends 10 is just to much for me
3 if i meet gays because i come out....
people,(if) they only care about the people in theire category(they can get lost)
people loving me, nothing wrong with that, i always found there was never enough love in this world so....

Cheeeeyne you are too cute. You have an amazing quality.
Amazing reasons.
Coming out is great because you can talk about being gay openly. Loved doing that for the first time.

well that's unfortunate. Besides, I didn't say being gay automatically gives you new friends. You still have to go out and meet them.
cheyneg 2 years ago
Yeah but thats allways the case, isn't it? :)
Anyway, I made friends because we liked the same stuff, not because we both liked men.
It can happen if you hang around gay bars and stuff but when you dislike those places (like me) most friends will be straight :P
As you might notice, slow evening in world of warcraft :)

reasons to come out:
1. just do it.
2. you can't hide those heals in your closet for much longer.
3. pretending to be straight is stressful.
haha okay I was kidding in one of those guess which one!

I don't think people should come out just because it's National Coming Out day. I think people should wait till they're ready.
Oh just saw the end of the video, you said the same thing. haha

For the third one, hopefully it would be more fame and not so much notoriety. Ahah.

Reasons to Come Out # 4: Never come out to conservative parents until your financial fit , you never know religious parents will kick you out. LOL.
aznguymetal 2 years ago
That's not actually a reason, it's just one more thing to make someone scared to come out :-(
