Saw this guy in Swansea Sept 2010,95 yrs old and a legend,so priveliged to see a genuine original Delta Blues man.The manager told me later that after the gig he drank whisky for most of the night.What a man.
This man knew Robert Johnson-and there will be no one to replace these guys when they leave the scene; and that is a horrible thought. We need some of the younger musicians to embrace this style of performance, tell it the way Honeyboy and Muddy and Son House tell it......

Honeyboy is the King. He's 96 now and going strong. Got another Grammy in '10.
