the problem with this is it does not at all simulate the timing required to really hit a ball and it will never ever be fixed to one point in space but all over the place unless your setter is god haha.
This is an important limitation and cannot be fixed.... The main use for this contraption is to isolate hitting form and make adjustments to the hitter's approach mechanics. It will only help as a supplement to on court practice with a real setter. Good comment.
