The ref wanted to do a video replay to see if the "batted puck" player, hit the opposing player in the face with his hockey stick (through his head to be exact), so he could give the goal scorer a 10 game suspension. Obvious, the goal was allowed therefore, the stick must have "just" missed the opposing players face. Oh well, may be next time ref.  Good goal
