@Geminimissions You could find a 5 horse tecumseh 2 cycle snow thrower engine I bet that scooter would top out at 45+. Briggs and Stratton even made 5.5 and 6 horse 2 cycle for toro snow throwers for a couple of years. I bet there will be some of those in the garbage this winter.
@pimpinpenz If I were you I'd go with the 5hp, the 3hp bogs at takeoff some and the 5hp would give you faster acceleration. The again the 3hp is very small in size ( shroud is twice the size of the engine) and a lot lighter. Use the 5hp for better acceleration and tourqe, or the 3hp for on road riding.

@gaspowerrules It tops out at about 32-35 mph. It has some bog at takeoff but once you get going it accelerates pretty quick!
