@COWBOY112233 You are talking about how many people converted to islam each year. You are probably right but more than that number defecting islam each year all over the world. Majority of people who are converted are usually from very poor background and experienced some sort of sexual physical or drug abuse. Terefore for these people islam looks like a saviour unfortunately they convert back to their original religion soon after conversion or give up the religion all together.

I am ashemed to be classed as the islamic Turks. I am not interested in being a muslim simply because they follow the arap islamic fashism in the name of god for 1500 years. We are Turks and very proud of it like every civilised citizens in the world. 90% AKP are not Turkic origin they are arabs, kurds or people who have been converted to islam recently like prime minister Tayyip Erdogan. @COWBOY112233 In Turkey,it is only assumed that 97% are muslim, in reality the number should be around 80%, as athiests are very numerous.The number 97% comes from the peoples' identity cards which state religion based on family lineage.For example, my father was muslim,so the gov assumes that I am muslim,which in reality this is not true.Also,in my neighborhood in Turkey there are 3 mosques within 100m.of my home but no schools.There aren't enough schools for kids and mosques are not neccesary.
