It always bothers me how people complain about her voice. It isn't autotuned or "I've-been-forced-into-singing-lessons-since-I-was-3." She can make her voice into music, whatever that music is. Have we considered Win's voice? I love his voice, but especially on Funeral, he doesn't have the perfect male-singer voice either. But we love it because of his unique sound and how, oddly enough, it works perfectly with the music. Regine has feeling to her singing. I dig it so much.

Here's an idea: 1) Take a look at their tour schedule, 2) Sing, dance, perform, rehearse, and travel the same amount as the band does on a daily basis, 3) get on stage at Madison Square Garden, 4) perform a set while dancing and singing and see how your voice sounds. It's called live music.

You also have to take in consideration that they had a show the night before. Both Win and Regine's voices sound exhausted in this concert. They sing a whole lot better at different venues when they've had a one or two day break between each concert. I saw them in Vegas and Regine's singing was spot on.

Her 'performance makes up for everything her voice lacks'. Y'know I'm enjoying this feverish recontextualizing of what's just plain bad singing. There's even someone here saying he prefers 'bad singers' cos they alone, sing 'from the heart'..or something. Using this as a critereon, then it follows that most people will be a better singer (in the bad = good, or no talent = having talent continuum) than what's evident in this performance. It's a spectacle, but not in the positive sense.
She's not even bad.. I'm sorry X Factor, The Voice, American Idol, and [insert country here]'s Got Talent has corrupted your standards so horrendously, that you think everyone has to be a prodigy with some kind of god-like voice in order to be "good"
She put on a hell of a performance, and she's got a certain style that induces happiness. I can probably only count 1 hand's worth of people I've seen on those talent shows that actually make you feel good while performing like she does.

I hadn't heard of Arcade Fire until they appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend, and I was on the edge of my seat! Really edgy and electric performance by the lead singer (I thought she sounded better there than in this video), and the overall vibe of the band was very, very cool.

I don't think she is a bad singer! She's dancing about loads - who can actually sing perfectly when they're doing that? I would much rather watch/listen to this vibrant, wonderful performance from Regine that some crappy, manufactured, boring, X Factor Simon Cowell regurgitated rubbish.

I dunno who thinks she is a bad singer. I think she is epic and arcade fire are epic its been a while since I have got an album and listened to every song over and over . Arcade Fire whatever your doing keep it lit.

I hadn't heard of Arcade Fire until they appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend, and I was on the edge of my seat! Really edgy and electric performance by the lead singer (I thought she sounded better there than in this video), and the overall vibe of the band was very, very cool.
