The Fighting is much more complicated and smoother than any SF game I have come across. Also, I find Guilty Gear to be a much more skill based, while still being free to make your own combos. So you are right, It won't hold a spot on the same shelf as Street fighter, because before It's even put up, it's gone.

My friend walked in while I was playing guilty gear and was like " this game makes no sense". Even higher ranks (<C+) on net GG#R uses Burst if they got hitted by Dust.

Well you can use IK sometimes if you Ro-Cancel Dust to IK mode and perform IK before they land. Typical example is Ky - Fast switching to IK mode + Great range of IK...

@KatzNinja It goes based on damage, yes. As well as time. Also getting hit by another non-allied fighter gives you additional burst, as does getting juggled between two opponents. Or getting hit after bursting, before you have a chance to react also gives you a lot of burst.

I honestly started out with Isuka.

I find having to fight four enemies, with no option of I.K. to be great for training, not to mention (this is, of course, the generic reason to enjoying Isuka) the creation of ABA.

GGI does not suck.... It has 4 new characters only in GGI and not in other gg series! the characters r Leopaldon,Robo-Ky II,Kakusei Sol and Kakusei Ky! There is also a new character but the charcter is also aviable in XX Slash and XX accent core.. it is A.B.A...In order to damage leopaldon u need to his its head cuz it is a giant.Robo-Ky II can equip other ppl moves like stun dipper from Ky,Volcanic Viper,Gamma Ray(Dizzy's GGX overdrive)and so on.Kakusei Sol and Ky are just powerful form of them

Nope. You can see the recovery at 0:49. They're either too fast to recover from or it's a stunning hit when there's a pause.

No they are not, the victim can use burst. Burst gets fully charged after 2-3 team combo hits, so these are not killer combos. Recovery is indeed impossible.

Looked like it was rushed out the door-not having a story mode is also proof of that (personally I thought that was just lazy). If I remember correctly, there is a meter for your instant kills-No time is needed charging instant kill moves have a meter you have to charge for it and you can get hit while charging and you can still use it. They gave most characters infinites involving only 2 or 3 hits-eliminating skill involved making it overly easy-meaning that it was made for button mashers.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

1) GGAC+ has a story mode.

2) There is no seperate meter for instant kill, it's tied with your tension and still requires you to activate the mode then input the command. You must be either A) An idiot to get hit by it in a real match. or B) Play ABA.

3) These infinites you mention are a lot harder than you think, but obviously you wouldn't know since you don't even play the game. They aren't just 2 or 3 buttons and require a lot of timing. Infinte? Hi Burst?

They made the function for a reason. Plus the proration doesn't even make infinites practical at all. I guess you can also get dizzied into IK but that doesn't even happen much. Try bashing some other shitty game, like Street Fighter 4 or something.

1.You must point me to some physical evidence that proves there is a story mode cuz when I searched every mode; it just made me fight random characters with no explanation.

2.my memory didn't serve me well with the IK but correct me if i'm wrong when I say that I was pretty sure they take a quick second to activate,i hit an opponent before he finished activating it and was still able to execute said IK.

3.All you have to do is open up after having your guard broken cuz the combos are long right

I really couldnt find the actual Story mode either. I does kinda seem like they just make you fight random characters. But I guess that the story is only noticable if you understand what they say during their "destined battles" and then put that plus the ending artwork together with the storyline from the other games.

Or research what the storyline was on some site like Wikipedia for example or something.

But none-the-less, I enjoy playing this game.

He's talking about Accent Core Plus. It's a re-release of the game that includes Kliff and Justice as playable characters as well as Story Mode. Besides, who gives a shit if there's story mode. I mean, really. Who actually buys a fighting game for story mode?! Go online, and just read the story on a forum or something. Accent Core may not be as balanced as Slash was, but it's still leaps and bounds better than most other fighters and INFINITELY better than "Isucka" could ever dream to be.

I mean, if you have fun getting off IKs on your friends (or #R online scrubs, perhaps) because they have no idea how to play the game, that's fine by me. But there are good reasons that IKs are rarely (not never per se, but rarely) seen in genuine competitive play, reasons I shouldn't have to explain unless you're just as ignorant about GG as the people you play it with.
