  • @Ingeniousduration Are you a doctor?

  • The rn took my bp and the cuff was loose. My bp was 130/85, would a loose cuff increase the bp on a numbers standpoint, or would the number decrease, or possibly have no effect? I'm worried because she said it was high

  • @Michael117american loose cuff = artificially elevated BP

  • This is very wrong. brachial artery is usually closer to the inside of the arm. around the bottom of the bicep.

  • @scdrummergrl are you a doctor? did you go to medical school?

  • ur voice sounds like eminem ...heehhehe

  • sweet hair

  • @3711mm Sad! First thing I noticed was his hair, as well! :P

  • I love how everyone's disagreeing about SOMETHING LOL

  • Who wants there blood Pressure cheek? I know how to do it.

  • alot of the time the brachial artery isnt in the middle but mostly on the inner side of the elbow crease.

  • @just0that0guy agreed

  • The brachial artery isn't always in the center of the elbow crease. You should feel around the area with your index and middle fingers for a pulse. When you find the pulse, place the diaphragm (bell) on the site of the brachial artery.

  • this is weird he doesn't look like a doctor maybe because he doesn't have the ego that doctors have am always used to doctors that tellinfo like nobody is around and enjoying listening to them selves

  • How do you pronounce the medical term for blood pressure cuff!?

I don't know the right way to say it.

  • the guy is sick.

  • @georginasarika lol!

  • ideally it's the belle actually as stated in books, but in practice we use the diaphragm. Brachial pulse has a low pitch sound the reason why we should use the belle :) anyhow we always use the diaphragm as it is more convenient and effective

  • He says bell of the stethoscope, but it should be the diaphragm.

  • @lizzie423 My teacher calls it a bell too.

  • @lizzie423 yeah you right

  • @lizzie423 it can be either or.

  • @lizzie423 SO!

  • @lizzie423

for people who are barely starting to use the stethoscope, they recomend using the bell.

  • @lizzie423 it actually is the bell....you can hear lower pitched sounds with the bell

  • @lizzie423 Bell is better

  • @lizzie423 the diaphragm is in the bell

  • @lizzie423 are you a doctor?

  • I started taking Levodyn because i was keen to bring my blood pressure down without resorting to prescription medicine. i have been taking it for less than 4 weeks but have already noticed a change. Before taking Levodyn my blood pressure was 152/86, it is now 128/76. i am really impressed.

  • ur lying ass

  • so much

  • I think you missed a step.

  • This is perfect revision for my exams, thanks :) I sometimes have trouble remembering where to place the stethoscope.
