  • some authors are skipping publishers by sending their ebooks to amazon or other ebook sellers directly. publishers r greedy because they think they r loosing money from paper backs.

  • my cousin owns an kindle i look at that thing like what a piece of cheap plastic but she look at it like the best thing in the world so it depends on the person i would never paid for ebooks or movies but i will for music it's just me

  • I am in love with my Kindle, gotta say it.

  • If nobody's stealing your E-Book, it's not worth reading. Don't be a social media buzzkill... You wind up selling more product over all because people see it and get excited about it.

  • relevantly: in a relevant way

  • I thought relevantly was a word...

  • Is there a way to ready my iBooks on my MBP? Why is there not a native iBook reader on the Mac?

  • @Thorvund1970 I thought you could read them from iTunes

  • @MoreBoingPlox Nope, iTunes won't open iBooks.

  • @Thorvund1970/watch?v=2vQ5PWa161k I think iBook added DRM on certain books end of last year. It's worth a shot though.

  • Does anyone know anyone who uploads more vids than Chris? He is relentless

  • I have a Nook

  • PDFs are not eBooks, they're PDFs.

  • @jgurbisz ebook stands for "electronic book." The first ebooks were simple .txt files. Adobe Digital Editions use *gasp!* .pdf!

  • YES.

  • I have a nook color and I actually like ebooks because I can access them on all my devices also there are some books that can be lent to you for a certain amount of time for free. So yeah I don't think they are a rip off.

  • @piablo16 He's not black you must be color blind.

  • I do think ebooks should at least a buck because when you buy a book you're mostly paying for the pages and the cover. With an ereader you are kind of paying for that when you buy it. I also think that there should be an easier way to rent ebooks because I know there's websites that you can do that but then you need to plug your ereader in every time you want to get one. P.S. Typing with my iPod is hard.

  • Would u download a car

  • @alext1483 I would.

  • The Pillars of the Earth is almost 1000 pages. The largest Harry Potter book is 870 pages. I lugged these things for a week at a time when I went to High School. Not to mention the wear and tear books can get.

Atlas Shrugged is about 1170 pages. I read that thing on my Nook.

F*** the people who say ebooks aren't worth it.

  • @mrmotchmaster ebooks aren't worth it to most of the morons out there who can't read a book bigger than 200 pages.

  • @Pyrmon

I think that most people can read a big e-books but just not in one sitting.

  • yeah i agree u on the restriction thing and it is frustrating

  • Hi Chris, i would like to add is some services like Lynda that produce ebooks and video podcasts etc are really really worth the money, and they charge pretty fair amount, so yeah some publishers does deserve money.

  • anal

  • eReaders are pretty useful little devices!

  • If you get a ereader don't get a kindle unless you use Amazon a lot. Amazon only sells ebooks in there CLOSED format, and they don't use or let their devices use the most common format of ebook. Imagine if Apple started selling all their music in a different format only for their devices, that would suck. Nook is good because you can read DMR and non-DMR epub and pdf books :) hopefully they will try to add more formats to Nook but they got 90% of ebooks covered.

  • @ZetaSimsoy I just use 2epub.com

    :D

  • @ipablo16 Troll -_-

  • Relevantly IS a word. =)

  • Fourth

  • third

  • second

  • first

  • Chris if you reply to me I would faint!

  • 1st I hope
