What is everyone talking about with expensive insurance prices? Maybe it's just my area, but I'm 20 years old & the WRX is only around $10 more per month to insure than a base model Civic, or any other non-performance economy car. This is through Progressive in the state of GA.
i had 19 600 to pay off for an 06 wrx tr wit a 2000 gti trade in that they gave me 6 600 for it. dealer was the shit with deals. Grand Subaru in Bensenville in Illinois. try them out u wont be let down.

@greenblueprints Actually pretty practical, considering you can actually fit four people inside, can go around in the snow because of all wheel drive(which is the reason fuel econom is not the best), they aren't very expensive to own (my new engine and trans was $3000), and insurence is not very expensive. If you think they are increadibly expensive, then you have never owned a bmw. ~$4000 for a new front hood and matching paint.

Because anyone looking to buy this car in automatic doesn't deserve to buy one. The STI, even WRX, are both performance cars, pretty much street legal rally cars. Would you buy a automatic ferrari? You should look at the 2.5i Impreza.

Don't make such an ignorant comment. The Evo9MR FQ400 with its "only 4 cylinders" puts 400HP stock, out of its 2 liter engine. It has a 0-60 time of under 4 Seconds, on par with ferraris and Lambos, a better track car than your car will ever be. Not saying the Corvette isn't a fine car however. The Mustang on the other hand, that's wasted horespower. Typical american muscle that can only drag in a straitline on the highways, put it on a track and it's a brick.

Are you dumb? Then even the baseline Evo itself isn't stock then with its tuned turbo and such with that mindset, my point was that the FQ400 comes out of the factory tuned, and is sold with 400HP listed. Even the baseline STI has around 300hp and those aren't limited versions.

haha that there was what made me decide to buy the 07' WRX in WR blue... the thing absolutely flies. I would most deffinitely take it over an Audi A6 any day. I drove my friends the other day and it just sucked compared to my WRX. those turbo's kick in on the wrx at around 3,000 rpms and keeps goin all the way up to the red line at 6,500 rpms. i was deciding between this or a VW Golf GTI MKV but the gti just doesnt compare at all now.
