theres a little monster thing in every picture. you have to look for it. in the very first slide its the salamander looking things and it grows through the story to look like those things holding her picture. in the second slide the thingy is hidden in the top right hand corner and only it's tail is sticking out of the vase... in the second one, its looking inside from the window. try to find it in every picture.

@megadoomer8000 I always thought that was the great thing about Edward Gorey. His stories ends and you're left thinking "Oh...right." It makes the whole thing more powerful, I thought.
