very nice stuff man i love listening to some of these guys stories its fuckin deadly. one thing i still cant find out - did they find the boat or not? i heard they fond it deflated in the bay, i heard they didnt find it at all, then one guy supposedly a guard says they found it but kept it secret. i know they did find the paddles on angle island. but about the boat whats the deal? this escape story drives me crazy man did they make or not man its so mysterious dude

Its still possible that Frank Morris and the Anglin Brothers drowned. All 3 life jackets were recovered. One on Angel Island, one near the Pacific coast and one floating just off Alcatraz.

i dont know how true the movie stayed the real events, but in the movie they were speculating if they scattering their crap all over the place to look like they drowned.. but again, that was just in the movie :)

I know. I also liked that scene when the warden found the flower dove and then threw it into the bay. By the way the guy who played the warden, Patrick Mcgoohan died at the age of 80. January 13, 2009
