This has always been one of my favorite Love Inc. songs. It's not every day you see dance music dealing with this sort of subject matter. Also, I know the lyrics are specifically about homelessness, but I once also saw them as a possible metaphor for just being alone with no one to turn to (something I could relate to, at the time); although that may not be what Chris had in mind when he wrote them...
