I love your reviews! You do a great job and I'm subscribing! This time though the recording sounded a bit muffled, maybe it was the guitar amp or the room sound.
@wimpelkurzer5613 they don't make it anymore. The parkwood pwh4 is about 1000 dollars but used shouldn't cost more 800 dollars unless someone wants to be stingy
The acoustic sounds crapy, I mean at some times it didn't even sound like acoustic... I prefer the T5 and the Ultra 2 (and maybe the Ovation VXT, but I never played it so I'm not sure)
thats so ture. these videos are nice for getting specs and stuff, but the true sound can only be heard when its hooked up to the ger YOU'RE going to be playing with
That's true but it never hurts to hear someone else play it too. This guitar is actually discontinued but I have a couple of songs that I wrote on it and posted on my profile. It's a hell of a guitar
This is a good sounding guitar, but it doesn't sound acoustic at all. It sounds about the same as my Strat with high gain pickups. I don't believe this guitar should be represented as a "hybrid", for there is no acoustic side to it. My Epiphone Alley Kat has a much cleaner acoustic sound to it.
Michael Kelly hybrids sound pretty good, but this one sounds no where close to an acoustic guitar. I don't know if this is just a bad video, or if this guy's amp is adjusted wrong, but there's no brilliance at all to it.
It has to be said that in the flesh this guitar sounds much more acoustic than this vid suggests. Plus add in to the mix the the demonstrator here played totally inappropriately with the acoustic pickup engaged, at least in my opinion. Check Greg Howe's Demo for a better example!
I have owned the black version (H2) of this guitar for about a year and it the best sounding, best playing, most versatile guitar I have ever owned. Very inspiring guitar to play. Get one of these bad boys while you still can, I don't think that Parkwood is making them anymore..
yhea man, i have, and guess what, i bought one it rocks, and im getting a kustom sieanna 35 watt amp, and amn this thing is going to rock.
I got the red quilted maple wood/finish.
its red like a tiger, and fierse like fire!
it rocks man! the distortion is prett good, not an "korn" or mega heavy sound, but a nice warm distortion, good enought for some softer/ pop metal mands.. kinda sound like green day... pretty damn sweet.
All guitars can, it's just a matter of how loud are they? This one has a chambered body so think of it like a thin bodied acoustic with some socks thrown inside.. just not very loud, but louder than a solid body.
Hmmmm...
This video makes the guitar sound like crap! But it's actually an awesome guitar!

I love how Greg Howe makes this guitar sound amazing and this guy (no offense) just doesn't sell it for me.

Uh, this sounds like an electric guitar with a fuckin Piezo in it. My Parker Deluxe has one and this thing doesn't sound any better.

this guitar sounds better than T5's IMO

Don't care to much for this demo, everything sounds very compressed. Greg Howe's demo made me wanna buy this thing, for real!

Hey Paul, saw you playing the XPT700....dude, you play great!!

if you have the money don't bother with the parkwood they dwarf in comparison to Taylor's T5 in every category including price for what you get
p.s. T5's are amazing !!!

This is a bad demo of this instrument. Just sounds so compressed and artificial. The Greg Howe demo on the Parkwood site is way better!
