It is expensive. But if you think about it, time is money. Try rendering the same # of frames in Brazil2, V-Ray, Mental Ray, or Maxwell in a decent amount of time. That's of course if this quality of rendering will work for what you need it to. It seems to do toon characters quite well. But I've yet to see a decent video of MachStudio Pro rendering glossy reflections or refractions, or any ultra real renderings, period. Not saying it can't be done, just haven't seen proof of it yet.
