@cw605 it was produced through the Associated British Corporation in the early 1960s- set in and around London. the series was imported to the us in march 1966- our abc tv network aired it i believe from the 10-11 pm time slot.

I AGREE THAT SHOW WAS EXCELLENT I STILL WATCH IT I BOUGHT THE SERIES HONOUR WAS GREAT DIANA AND LINDA ALL BEAUTIFUL I WAS A KID WHEN I FIRST SAW THE SHOW ABOUT 10 I WAS GLUED TO THE TV ONE TIME MY FAMILY WAS VISITING A RELATIVE SHE HAD THE TV ON THE AVENGERS CAME ON MY DAD WAS JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE HE SAW ME SIT RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TV AND THEY COULDNT BUDGE ME I SMILE THANK YOU
It's a pity it never had the same run as my other favourite program.
