  • This is...just amazing. Great job man!

  • the commodore 64 i love you code rules!!!! :)

  • awesome. I love it.

  • You are the epitome of awesomeness =D

  • ti amo - italian xD

  • U are not lame

  • @tahkevin *laugh* :D Thanks!

  • Pig latin version is wrong. Its " Iway Ovelay Youway "

  • Aishiteru (written in romaji) means "I love you" in japanese or literally "to love"

  • Gee, no lojban? Well that's "mi prami do", for your next version. (Or, if it fits your rhthym better, "mi do prami")

  • hmmm ... your using a southern german accent and unless your talking to your spouse its ich mag du. i think.

  • 1:18 "hato daisuki" means "I like pigeons"

  • @l3usStop Yes! :D It's an inside joke... sorry.

  • Whoa his non-Asian accent surprized me! :O

  • i dont know about Italian, but in Brazil we speak portuguese (came from the latin) and it can be "Eu Te Amo" or "Eu Amo Você"

The "I" is "eu", "love" is "amo" and "you" can be "você" after the "amo" but can be use as "te" before... and you dont need to use the "eu" in the phrase :P

nice song... power to the nerds xD

  • I love this song. It's hilarious. And imformative. Not like you'd need to say this if you were English or American, but, hilarious. XD

  • Actually, since Vulcans aren't exactly comfortable with public displays of affection, the proper phrase is, "Taluhk nash-veh k'dular." which translates into, "I cherish thee." It is the only declaration of love between bondmates that is accepted by Vulcan society.

Not dissing on your awesome song, just thought you might be interested to know. =)

  • @SkittlezInzanity That is good to know! So when would the other phrase be used?

  • @SkittlezInzanity That certainly is useful information! Now go jump into a hole and die, because you've now given the world everything you will ever be useful for.

  • @SkittlezInzanity I <3 nerds.

  • @SkittlezInzanity That's kinda interesting. That's almost opposite to our Western Culture and English. I tell many people that I love them, and I do: friends, family, friends that are pretty much family, in-laws I'm trying to bond with... But I think I would only sincerely say "I cherish you" to one person: My husband. Now, I'm sure that will change when we have kids, and I cherish them, but it still strikes me as odd.

  • thats was awesome jejej

  • You missed Ido language, Lojban, and possibly others. Nah, nevermind.

  • Question, Did you put it to binary yourself, or did you use a converter? Lol.

  • The fact that I listened to this so I hear if I had been pronouncing my Vulcan right proves beyond all doubt that I am truly a nerd. The fact that I geeked out enough to and add it to my favorites literally establishes a new level of nerd.

    Me: (^__^)

"Wani ra yana ro aisha, Spock."

    Spock: ^(^__^)^

    Yay!

  • I LOVE this! It tickles my inner nerd!

You have an awesome voice, too!

  • Never know untill you try.

  • True! But I am of the Creative Commons bent, so it's available to people for free download. :D

  • Yeah that would be a problem.

  • My god. Errol, you amaze. Also, your daughter's version of this? I have to say, it may even be (heresy!) slightly better than yours :P. The sheer adorableness of some of that cannot be beaten.

    MG&

  • This may be the greatest love song i had the luck to stumble over. thank you!

  • Brilliant! :-D

  • Do you speak sindarin? If so, i have been trying to find someone who could upload a tutorial, for i have been trying to learn tangwar sindarin, and different people say different things. I just want an accurate tutorial! If you don't speak it youself, if you know of someone who does or an informational website, that would be awesome! Thank you!

  • That was awsome

  • pretty cool...however u mispronounced the German - Ich Liebe dich - ich & dich - ish/dish

  • uhm... no. not where I come from. In 'proper German' its "ich" and "dich" with "ch" being the kinda scrachy h sound like in Dutch and Hebrew which English speakers cant make. There are German dialects where its pronounced "ish" & "dish" but its not 'standard German'

  • goddamnit!! my previous comment was supposed to be a reply to Maxtierney, but stupid youtube put it to the top of the list :(

  • I love it! Your song-writing is great, especially fun to geek out with all the conlangs, etc. Thanks for sharing. I think you could team up well with Stephen Colbert on his next Christmas special!

  • Oh my gosh, I less than three you!

    Genius.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks dayzimlich! :D

  • Not to nit pick, but in Italian, it's "ti amo". In Spanish it's "te amo".

    Still, great video. Nice job!

  • Oh bother! I blame the guy who told me that it was the same as Italian. *laugh*

Now I'll have to patch it to v1.2.

  • That was flippin' hysterical.

I am glad(ish) to say that the only one I already knew was German, and the only one I recognised from the sound/letters was Elvish.

    AWESOME video. 5* and Favourite!

  • Errol you have WAY too much time on your hands :)
