kids in the north at around 17 are throwing in the low- mid 80's tops usually but in the south they can throw even harder. this is because of the warm climate that allows them to play year round and the cold in the north also inhibits a pitcher from throwing harder because your muscles tighten up in the cold

Ucubs thats is not true at all normal 14 year old pitchers down in the south throw mid 70's-80 at tops most 15-16 year olds dont even throw 85 yet

it depends what level youre playing. if youre playing at the east cobb level its normal too see mid to upper 80s. id say anything over 80 is pretty fast for a nomal 14 yo in the south though. its been years since i played at that level but thats what i remember

How hard do 14 yr olders down south throw, cuz i live in wisconsin and play on two very competitive teams, one which is top in state, and a tournament team that travels across the midwest, and the hardest pitcher we faced was about 84 mph, so i f you could tell me how hard kids down south throw, that would help me out a lot. thanks
