Yo, even if he does say, "everything...is 'gay,'..." the word itself never 'meant' an automatic sexual connotation as in the past thirty yrs or so. The word GAY, has always been defined as "happy, frivolous, ... gatherings for happy occasions, celebratory, etc. A little time 'between the covers' of a Webster's would help a lot of people learn the different nuances in verbiage between the '50's and today.
