The best thing I can do on a face are the eyes :) I drew Lara Croft and the eyes are the best and most fun part :D

Awesome job. That actually helped a LOT, 'cause i'm guessing like a bunch of other people i just draw what i thought an eye would be and not the actual thing and with this tutorial i learned how to actually see things as they are. I was actually surprised when in the end of this "lesson" i was incredibly satisfied with the result. I hope I'm making any sense. @mrsadavidson I'm guessing you're talking about the iris not the pupil... There's really no science to it, just draw what you see. Every iris is different. I mostly just scribble and then blend it out. :)

I love drawing eyes. I used to draw eyes all the time, but they would look more cartoon-like and kind of gothic. I would always draw one random eye (lookin' all cartoony-like with like a black tear drop coming from the center or even the outer corner of the eye. I dont know why but it seemed to be my favourite thing to draw. Thanx for this tutorial. Next time I draw eyes, I'm gonna come back to this.

Would office depot be an art supply store...or staples? And, for the eyelashes whenever i draw them they are too thick!

@xofuturefamexo ummm... I guess you could check there for specific art supplies, but I'm more talking about a store with ONLY art supplies. Maybe google it to see where they are in your area. There's a store called Aaron Brothers that is pretty good. And I think it's a pretty popular store. And as for the eyelashes...hmm. Maybe you need a thinner pencil, like a mechanical one to draw the lashes?

@omgitstaliix3 That happens to me sometimes too. In my art classes we do something called "gesture drawing" where you basically VERY lightly draw out the main pieces of the drawing and get it symmetrical and proportional. Then you kind of use that as a map to draw in darker. It helps a lot!
