I can relate so well to that... I race a SVRA/ VDCA Triumph Spitfire with the 1300cc engine in Group, and in some of the bigger events we run an enduro with all vintage cars eligible, and I tell ya, it'll scare the hell outta ya when a Lister Chevy, or a Trans-Am Camaro comes blasting by you down the back stretch.

I LOVE Lotus'. I want an Exige S in the worst way. But, I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a car that can't even do 150mph. I could get a Cayman S for less that comes with a lot more stuff, more room, 2 good sized boots and it'll do 170mph. I know it's not as "quick" but it's still quick enough and is a lot faster. Good looking as well.

@Silverstreak350Z remember, top speed is not everything. For daily use you'll have a lot more fun in a lotus. However, the porsche would be far more useful. Lotus Exige = SMALL. I got to ride in an Exige S at an auto-x in Dothan, AL. That was one of the most fun cars I've ever been in.

Yea it only has 250 hp, but its also only 800 kg. The Porsche is alot heavier.
