@TrussQi - Thanks. Well I added a lot of fills myself and refined it myself but I probably learnt the main tab from the official Metallica Ride The Lightning tab book. Although in those tab books some parts are wrong I have noticed. Or atleast not the same to how Cliff/Jason played the parts.

MiniHorseRulz i am a bassist and i can play most techeniques, I learnt from pick and finger at the same time, pick was a hell of alot easier than anything else iv tried. So i did the hard yards and played finger, its easier to pop and slap on stage if you use fingers. Pick is just lazy

the pick gives you a better tone for certain types of music. it's also good if you want to play hammer-ons and pull-offs since it gives you more attack. (i use my fingers for bass, so this is not a biased opinion)
