it would be interesting to hear the author's response to user "clickherephotography1", I have never observed this in my photo taking, and if this is true, I'd love to learn more about it. I have never noticed any change in DOF when changing shutter speeds. I honestly don't see how this would happen. Thanks for any enlightenment.
Very nice tutorial, however; I think you could have mentioned how shutter speed is affected by the choice of Depth of Field even though this discussion goes (slightly) into the area of exposure…
If you use a camera in Manual Mode and change only the aperture without changing the shutter speed correspondingly you will certainly change your Depth of Field, however many of the resulting shots will be either over exposed or under exposed…
lol, what happened at 21:38 ? nice and thorough demonstration of depth of field, but you should mention the effect of the crop factor on that focal length using that camera. For example your 24-70mm range is actually equivalent to 38.4-112mm on that camera.
Thank you for inviting me to take a look. I have a thing about taking pic's I never had the knowlage. This is really good what you are doing. Thank you
I just wanted to say thanks for being so descriptive and coherent. I'm an aspiring filmmaker and have been trying to acquire up to date literature or additional info on camera lenses and lighting. Got any tips? It would be much appreciated.

around the 5:00 mark you forgot to turn on the dof preview so the image was the same as at f2.8?
