Too bad they don't make music like this for TV Shows anymore. TV theme songs will never be as good as they once were. Why does everything get worse as time moves ahead? Everything went to hell when the 2000's started!

@thecloudchamber Hmm I remember reading an article about the death of the theme song. They don't really exist much now. Not in the same way they used to (e.g Cheers, Happy Days, Married With Children, Full House, The Simpsons etc). It's mostly either a 10 second dancey rock theme or a 5 second electronic beat with title card. Most of the time formerly used by a minute long theme song most likely goes into extra advertising now.

When I hear this Closing theme I imagine myself at a gloomy dark chinese restaurant at the end of the night. Gazing at a dimly lit fish tank watching the last customers drink their "last drinks" before getting outside and being ambushed by a mafia squad of 5, to be TAKEN AWAY ...... and NEVER SEEN AGAIN.

last week i was at my friends grave . tommy donlon he got hit and killed by a car on 24july 1972, we were 14, i was at his grave and i prayed for him. and i asked him or god to let me know if he knows i was there. well 20 min later i bought a lotto ticket, i did not win but the first 2 numbers were -9- 14- his birthday, he was born on 9-14-57. do you think that was him telling me he knows i am there. i hope so i miss him so much.

Yes,the ending theme.Reminds me of visiting someone's grave at nighttime,including a full moon and dark clouds slowly passing over it. This theme used to make me sad,when I was young.

love this ending, a friend of mine got hit by a car on 24july 1972, we were 14, tommy donlon was his name. i miss him so much, a car jumped the curb on lake st in waltham mass, when i use hear this song, i use to cry. i always thought of him in calvary cem, in waltham where he is buried. i use to wonder if he knew i was at his grave, rite after he died, i miss him so much. tommy donlon 14sept1957-24july1972,14 was too young,still in my heart-from peter edmunds.

I Like This Theme Better Than The Second 1, And I Like The Closing Credits Music Better Than The Opening. Man, this has to be the scariest show I've ever watched as a kid!

I use to cut grade school to watch it on Lifetime when it was still on. But man, the music always scared me. Not to mention, the Psychic Drawings of wanted suspects.
