Oh yeah, They all blame videogames for violence and want it banned.... but nobody calls for football to be banned, you know the game that has actually killed a lot of people and has created a mentality of angry, near-psychotic competition (in both players and fans) for years? Nooo football is a "good ol' tradition" Good song. Everyone should check out Pen and Teller's :Bullshit. They have an episode where they combat the myth of videogame violence.

Wow. This...this is brilliant. It's true that people often blame video games for the violence of the world, but really, I think that, in general, people who play video games are less likely to go on rampages. I mean, if you're taking out your violent tendencies on fake people, then you're probably less likely to go out and hurt REAL people...at least...that's what I think...Definitely one of your best songs.

Some are prominent politicians and entertainers: Jack Thompson, Bill O'Reilley, Hillary Clinton, John Stewart, etc. Some are prominent critics and writers within the video game industry: Greg Kostikyan is one. Others are TV news soundbytes. My view writing this song is that video games get an undue rap for violence when the same violence is everywhere else already. Not really "making fun" but using humor to help make a point.
