They are definitely taking fire. It takes approximately 4 minutes for the team to locate the bulk of them. Im sure if anyone was in that outpost they had pulled back long before the suicide fuck blew himself up. Watch after 4 minutes in, they know theyve been pinpointed. Steady plat plat = close range incoming fire, camera doesnt give u a good idea of how close. I hear some come within feet of camera though.
