@KoopaKoot These aren't the "real" mature and vice. They are like their materialized souls. At the ending of the Iori team they dematerialize again. They materialized because of the power of the seals Ash was using. The mirror and the blood.

Foxy's dead was a mistake in 2001, SNK guys wanted to correct it but it was too late. Officially she is alive but she was indeed betrayed by K9999 and Angel.

@KoopaKoot SNKP retconned that moment. Never explained but I think SNKP grew to dislike the K9999 character concept, considering he's a ripoff of Tetsuo from Akira, down to the same voice actor. I think the reason Mature and Vice are in the latest games are because their ghosts are haunting Iori, don't quote me on that though.
