shoul arabians be aloud to play war games? jk. Wish i could play C&C3 but my pc couldn't handle it with settings on low, my pc is 8 years old btw, but we gettin a new one!
The game looks better with AA off at a high resolution, like, something over 1280x1024 or 1280x768. Anti-Aliasing (AA) kills off the terrain quality, and blurs it a bit. To remove 3d model stuttering (on some other gfx cards and drivers) and pixelisation, you should rather play the game at a higher resolution or set Anti-aliasing to level 1 ONLY, else the terrain will look blurry when zoomed out.
this video is weird, constantly panning and zooming, its funny like youre upset that someone would say that you get 15fps in C&C3 w/ an 8600gt that you would make this video.. i would have stopped caring 2 seconds after reading the initial comment and moved on with my life
C&C3 has low ass requirements thats why. Lol. My computers 4 years old non upgradable and basically runs everything on max except Alising, shadows, and VFX. Everything else is on full while those are low.
I think there may be some confusion between the 8600 and 8500 which is the BIG drop in performance.
This is another factor that people overlook:
Resolution Math:
1024x768 =0.8 million pixels to manage.
1152x864 =0.9 million pixels to manage.
1280x1024 =1.3 million pixels to manage.
1920x1200 =2.3 million pixels to manage.
Using the 1152x864 resolution as a base, there is a (rounded off) 50% and 150% load increase respectively for the next two levels of LCD native resolutions.
if you dont have atleast 1.5gb of ram this game will do 15fps but it runs smooth for me but i have a e-vga superclock 8600gt with 2gb of ram and my cpu is shitty (p4 3.2ghz)
i could even play this on a pentium 4.......yeay THAT one!

I think your version of the card is a little faulty because with the XFX 8600 GT You should be able to get a solid 30-50 FPS.

15 fps sucks
