Well, over here in the UK it's $9 a gallon.. and we wont have the Volt for a few years.. I'm moving to the USA.

I don't know where you guys are buying your gas...but where I live it's over $3.00 per gallon and it's only going to go up!

Therefore....I'm going electric on my next purchase or nothing at all...

P.S. nothing out there can compare to my 50mpg stock metro. 4 seats AC cost $10,000 brand new off the lot in '99. I've got 240,000 on it and cant find anything comparable to replace it with.

@VRJensen1 its about $3.30/gal here in upstate NY. some people however in other states get gas for almost 50 cents cheaper...i remember i used to fill up in jersey a few years ago for 1.88 when everywhere else it was 2.50/gal. i had the unfortunate luck to buy a lemon VW in 2006 and while ive always had nothing but good luck with vw..i think i might get this car next if i can find a good deal on it somewhere.

hope GM offers a decent warranty...heavily computerized cars can be quite buggy

it's a step forward to the future. you care only about the aspect, but you didnt understood, that they improved the technology...the avarege consumption is 1 liter / 100 km (230 miles per galon). You can change the shape of it by adding a bodykit or something, but the technology used in it is priceless

they put a little manually controlled chirp in it because it is so quiet. you can chirp if you are breaking so they will know you are coming up on them :)

wow! The digital speedometer is so freaking cool. I bet no one have seen any speedometer that cool before. I mean, 3D, god damn. Too bad this car is out of my budget or I would really buy one.
