I finally finished reading the ranma 1/2 series and this ep is almost directly in the middle so to finish the series there needs to b 2-4 more seasons, i dont want to spoil who the new chars will b but the last eps would a 4 or 5 ep special. Oh! How I wish they would revive the anime and remake it to be as wonderful as this OVA! The only thing that could make such an idea even more wonderful is if they gave the new anime a "true ending" and epilogue episodes written by Takahashi-san herself!! A true conclusion! *sigh*... Yes, I do enjoy ranma and it's one of my top 3 animes of all time.

However, I would like to inform all of you that the reason further Ranma 1/2 anime isn't coming is due to the amount of funding it takes to make it. The majority voice actors we see in ranma are now very expensive and the manga writer still doesn't want to continue (who knows, she can be lying), but the writer pretty much rage quit the series by giving the shitty ending.Too much factor to consider.

This is coming from one of the biggest Ranma fans. I can deal with the new animation but the pacing and production looks like it was done by someone with ADD or on speed.

This is indicative of the whole trend in Japanese animation and media. Which is why I cant even stand watch half of the new stuff. Go watch earlier OAVs and you will see how vastly different the pacing is. Ranma was always good at going fast then slow, fast then slow, but this is just fast fast fast.

I do agree though, its frustrating that in no way do we get any sense of a good old fashion ending with Ranma. The TV series, the movies, the manga, absolutely nothing.
