Anyway, you know my favourite thing about generations? It's conclusive proof Sonic Team liked the idea that Sonic likes chili dogs.

my least favourite thing is the fact that we don't get to see more iconic characters like Big or Omega.

Also, while you were commenting on Green Hill; I was thinking to myself; why the hell does Sonic not immediately recognise it? He's been to Green Hill in adventure 2 and it was a hubworld in Chronicles.

@MrJoeyWheeler Most likely because they don't consider Chronicles cannon, which is why we haven't seen Shade, or anything about a second installment. As for Green Hill in adventure 2, it was more of an added bonus for getting every emblem than an actual story element.

SEGA should've brought in Tikal, Mighty, Bean, Bark, Ray, Classic Knuckles, Classic Amy, and a few more, they said "We will bring back as many characters as we can", but, y'know what, they didn't! Plus they should've brought in more levels than 9, seriously SEGA, this was supposed to be a tribute to all Sonic games before it, and I think that there one hell of alot more Sonic games than 9.

@jruler93 I agree to a point, But if they had every game, wouldn't people be complaining due to the "Sonic Labyrinth" and "Sonic 3D Blast" levels.

I think this was based on eras more so than anything. I would have love to see "Quarts Quadrant" or "Lava Reef Zone" again, but you've got to admit they did a good job on level selection from each game they DID take from. I couldn't have chosen better.

(Maybe I would have put "Metal Harbor" in , but up against "City Escape" I don't know)
