Shufflers are free to express themselves. But it obviously isn't on par with other dancing styles in terms of artistry, technicality, ideas and emotion. Similar to other club dancing forms, shuffling is only variations on one technique.

And from my experience people not on drugs think it's fucking amazing, more than after you learn it for sure, because it looks like you're just floating all over the place. @toothpic124356 And really, it's not just about the feet. It has simple footwork, but you can't shuffle for shit if you can't dance with your upper body. I personally don't like this guy very much because he just looks at the ground, which makes him look not very confident. He just grabs his hat constantly, and just relies on footwork, which makes it relatively boring. And I personally think the best ones are the ones that don't purely shuffle, it's just part of their dancing.

This dance is called the Running Man...It's from the 90ties. And the way MC Hammer does his running man is so much cooler than what you guys are doing now! If you want to see real oldschool shuffle, I suggest you search for "social northpole" or "producerolsen" - he's a real oldschool shuffler.
