This is by far the worst method to clean a hardwood floor. Please do not use Orange Glow products on a pre-finished wood floor. It will completely destroy the finish. Bona products are the best solution but the haze from other products must be removed first. If the cloudy haze is bad a solution of Ammonia and water will need to be used to remove the milky haze. Many times a floor buffer is needed to remove this haze.

No hardwood manufacturer would ever recommend this cleaning method. This will ruin your floor eventually.

Run a dust mop over it. Follow that up with Bona Chemi or Armstrong's Hardwood Floor Cleaner with the terry cloth or micro fiber cloth head. NEVER use a mop and water, murphys oil, orange glo or any supermarket brand. Go to a flooring store and protect your investment.

You don't want to use a hard bristle broom. You will leave fine scratches in the finish. Would you use a broom on your cars finish? I use a vac with felt on the bottom of the attachment to get all the dust and grime out from between the planks. Then I use a dust mop, then clean with your solution.
