I'm very impressed, I'm just starting off with my music career and if anybody ever asked me what motivates me to make music I would say that Matisyahu inspires me because he makes people of all colours, races, beliefs and personalities come together. His music is amazing, I don't usually cry but this made me tear up a little bit.

Matan505, I think you should probably read the NT (or renewed covenant), without what you've already heard about it. Yeshua came here first to help change our hearts and to restore our love for the G-d of Israel. The point of him coming the second time is to finally bring peace. To say that the Messiah is to come and bring peace first and if he doesn't, then he's a liar, is faulty. It's as if to say Moshe was not the deliverer since he never actually brought Israel to the promised land.

Messiah has come already, he is here and is returning. Its all fulfilled in Torah. Torah also doesn't deny the second coming. Its a process of God teaching his children. Not everything must come to pass when a group of men says it must come to pass. Moses was revealed Messiah but the Torah wouldn't be fulfilled for another 1000 some odd yrs by Yeshua.

Seek and you will find.

No Christian pastor can ever be an authority on what the messiah is. It's a Jewish concept that existed before Christianity. Only the Jewish tradition has criteria for it's definition. "Jesus" did not fulfill the requirements.
While there are tons of reasons jews don't believe jesus to be the messiah, I will state the most obvious. Jews believe the messiah will bring about the messianic age, we clearly are not in any form of golden-age, therefore jews don't believe jesus is the messiah.

Right, I totally agree. The scripture has been manipulated by western thinking where peoples understanding of esoteric things are simply whats black is black and white is white. Can God visit his people through a physical vessel? He certainly can. Can God reign on Earth through messiah? He certainly can and will.

Very true. "Good people" will spend eternity separated from God the same as "bad people" who do not have their faith alone in the Cross of Christ. The Bible says no one is good-so that argument is basically null; and about God is love, while that is true it is completely out of context-lawlessness even within Christianity is not of God.

G-d doesn't require human sacrifices. Repentance and tikkun are available to any human being that seeks them sincerely. The only "escape" is to change ones behavior and ask Hashem for forgiveness. It will be granted! People are not born guilty, just with an evil inclination into a crazy world.

Maybe you didn't notice Matis and many of his fans (including me) are Jewish, please don't mention jesus or any other form of idol worship, as it is an insult to us or any other man who can READ the Torah, and therefore see that dead man did not even meet the most simplistic requirements for who the messiah will be. Rev 2:9 ... there's an idiom behind the "say they are Jews and are not". It's not Gentiles claiming to be Jews. You should probably reference this back to anything to do with mixed multitudes. There's a group there, mixed with them, from the seed of Esav that claim to be Jews and will follow the God of Israel and are not Jews but claim to be.

genesis, exodus, leviticus, numbers, and deuteronomy. Jews only read the whole old testament. They don't believe in Yeshua Jesus as their messiah. The pentatuech is just another name for the torah.

I'm no scholarly source but God second coming is supposed to do that and that will usher in the peace and happiness his first coming is to die in our place and make a way for us to triumph over sin and its wages ...it involves a choice THat's why some people are chirstian jew or atheist because it's a choice ...God doesn't force anyone to come to belief in Him

Matan505, I think you should probably read the NT (or renewed covenant), without what you've already heard about it. Yeshua came here first to help change our hearts and to restore our love for the G-d of Israel. The point of him coming the second time is to finally bring peace. To say that the Messiah is to come and bring peace first and if he doesn't, then he's a liar, is faulty. It's as if to say Moshe was not the deliverer since he never actually brought Israel to the promised land.

Messiah has come already, he is here and is returning. Its all fulfilled in Torah. Torah also doesn't deny the second coming. Its a process of God teaching his children. Not everything must come to pass when a group of men says it must come to pass. Moses was revealed Messiah but the Torah wouldn't be fulfilled for another 1000 some odd yrs by Yeshua.

@Matan505 But in TANAKAH we were never promised that things would immediately get better in the world because of Messiah's coming. We were promised permanent redemption through the sacrifice of the suffering servant (Isaiah 53). Now he was also supposed to be a king and a ruler, but if we look at the life and word's of Yeshua we can see that He was not only the suffering servant but establishing a kingdom not of this world but a heavenly kingdom. Seek and you will find.

The Jewish people are not gathered back in the land of Israel yet. War and bloodshed still exist. The Temple has not been rebuilt. Awareness of G-d does not cover the earth yet.

No Christian pastor can ever be an authority on what the messiah is. It's a Jewish concept that existed before Christianity. Only the Jewish tradition has criteria for it's definition. "Jesus" did not fulfill the requirements.

While there are tons of reasons jews don't believe jesus to be the messiah, I will state the most obvious. Jews believe the messiah will bring about the messianic age, we clearly are not in any form of golden-age, therefore jews don't believe jesus is the messiah.
