Reminds me of the sounds of home :). Cultural history in an island nation (Philippines) and fingerstyle is big there. Cousin played this all the time around the house, so it has memories for me. Thanks for the great rendition!

Do you have to use fingerstyle guitar? Because my friends tell me you need to. I've got a acoustic and a classical picked out. I'm just wondering yes or no if it's better. Also for a good hard shell case will any case fit any guitar? I'm looking at a Ibanez case for a Ibanez guitar, but I dunno if it'll fit.

It is possible to play solo guitar arrangements with just a pick. They sound much different and have their own distinct flavor. I prefer fingerstyle, but I also play with a pick sometimes to create different grooves. Cases?... take the guitar to a store and say "hey" this is what I have.. what do you have that fits... go from there.

I was hoping just to get it online, and lol I was asking if I should use a classical or acoustic for fingerstyle. I'll do whatever ones prefered or sounds better.

Both the classical and the steel string guitars work+sound great for fingerstyle guitar playing. I would recommend to go to a music store, sit down with each type and play them. You will gravitate towards one of them more. It's like trying out a bicycle... you will know when you ride it.
