For instance, civilians Wafa Costantine and Camelia Shehata Zakher were detained in one of the churches in Egypt and banned from getting out. Moreover, the Coptic Church of Egypt precludes the press from interviewing those detained civilian women. The Orthodox Church of Egypt deliberately exploits its authorities on other civilian wonem to prevent them from converting to Islam.

The Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt has been detaining many civilian Egyptian women who have converted to Islam recently. Not only the Coptic church is detaining those who turned to Islam, but also Who seek to convert to Islam.
