Yeah, I believe that's the bonus she receives here. She also starts out with a heavy machine gun.

Ralf is particularly good at dispatching the aliens on the part. Too bad you didn't use him. Okay, I'm done.

Yeah, I was trying to play as one character the whole time. Different folks are better for certain situations, that's for sure.

I just like Ralf (for this particular game anyways) because of his rapid-fire knifing skills. The red aliens that inflate themselves and try to land on you, as well as the turquoise ones that shoot out the purple bubbles of death (if you can get in close before they start) are easy pickings for it.

I forget about the knife he has - the vulcan punch gets a lot of use out of me.

I actually never figured out how to use that. And again, I only like Ralf for 6. Take your pick of any of the other games and I'll pick Marco.

Yeah. That's not why I like using him though. I used to only be able to play Metal Slug 2 on an arcade machine hidden of to one side in a grocery store my dad and I used to go to every Saturday. Back then, my dad would give me 50 cents (only good for two continues), and I would see how far I get with that. I always picked Marco because I thought he looked cooler than the other three (plus he's got that crazy gloating laugh when he beats a boss.) No other reasons. I only ever reached level 3.

I really can't help you there, it depends on where you're from and how you intend to buy it. Take a look around, alright? You might have to pick it up used, though.

You can set the credits to "Limited" or "Unlimited".

Under "Limited", the number of credits depends on the difficulty level; I think "Normal" gives you 20, "Hard" 10/15, and "Easy" 30.

"Unlimited" speaks for itself.
