XtracPads Hammer Mouse Pad Review

cool man, must be a new review I see you've got a G700 there. You should do a review on the Dralla chopping board, I heard they make a great mousepad, for real! Check out the Logitech forum under G-Series Mice or just Google "dralla mouse", I'd love to see a review, I'll be picking a few sets up from Ikea as soon as I've got some coin! :D

It looks like, due to it's thinness, the corners has trouble staying down

Is a mouse mat/pad really necessary anymore? Most mice nowadays have superb laser tracking, where a mat/pad isn't needed.

@gumballtech: The answer is no. If you're using a laser/infrared or optical mouse than a mouse pad is NOT necessary anymore. However... this pad... the XTracPads Hammer is a mouse SURFACE. It's not a mouse mat per se. Moving your mouse on this surface can increase your mouse cursor accuracy due to the patented HD pattern as will as the plastic making mouse mouse glide much faster than a desktop.

I agree but most user have wood desk, and usage of mouse over the time will scratch the desk surface if you didn't use mousepad.
