@SunnyShawFilms: No. It`just a big cloud background picture behind the jet. In front and right behind the jet is the same cloud picture again with keyed out blue. I used After Effects to compose the jet layer and the cloud layer together.

an idiot that dosen't know how to hold a gun. mutant fires about 50 rounds at point blank range couldn't land a shot, the idiot shoots 7 rounds (whats the point of having a high powered automatic weapon if it only has 7 rounds.) they both run out of ammo at the same time with no extra mags. and the mutant kills him with a stick. aren't germans suppose to be the experts in killing people? man they got rusty!

just some critique..okay? the music was the same throughout all scenes, it should've changed to a much faster music/pace during the fight scene. Music needs to reflect the pace of the footage, also, i would've found it more acceptable if th pilot had a helmet, up until at least when he starts exploring up the track. And in the fight scene, you'll notice, in big budget films, blockbusters, they combine up close camera work, to hide that' sat night pub brawl' look. 3d work is impeccable!well done!

I think it would be quite simple to do. My guess would be:

1. Place the camera in the angle you want for the stab shot and REMEMBER to place it on a tripod and DONT move it!

2. Take the shot with only the guy stabing the ground.

3. Take a shot with only the guy getting satbbed (jolting in pain)

4. In after effects stich the shots together (using a mask that cuts right where the object enters the body)

5. Add a splater of blood where the stab happens (after effect, video copilot?)

@orika001: All new premiere versions can read that format. You don`t have to convert it, you can edit in Realtime. There`s also a free converter on the web called MP4Cam2AVI. Google for it. I don`t use it so can`t tell how how it works.

@MacMave: It makes uncompressed AVI`s: real big Files but no quality loss. You need a fast HardDrive to edit this and most computers can`t play that in realtime but is the best way. MPG2 would be smaler but then you have quality loss.

@thatniggbeme7: Maybe your SD Card is to slow! You need a SDHC Card with Class 6. If you have one, format it again, conect your cam to the computer and look if all the space is available. Maybe the SDHC Card has some problems. Usual SD Cards don`t work.

not bad man. way to use some of those action essentials the right way. How did u do the head on the stick effect. Also for your punches, try using a couch cushion (somthing firmer) and some celery for the crunching sound and on top of that add a moist towel. then take a stick and wack away. its much more realistic then most sound effects.

Do you need continuous autofocus to shoot action scenes properly, or is manual good nough, or better perhaps? Will a 50mm 1.4 like yours suffice for basic action scenes? Please let me know :)

@gideonMorrison: Continous Autofocus would be better, but this Cam forces you to think more about your Image and thats a good Thing. The 50mm is okay, but not for Action Scenes. I suggest the Kit Lens or a other Lens to use wider angles.
